All the local haunted spots will be revealed, complete with detailed narratives, multimedia enhancement, and theatrical reenactments. Walk with us through a night of shivers, spookiness, and things that go bump in the night!

Experience the folktales of Bryan/College Station come to life in this live-action haunted experience! PVFA students are working with TAMU students from all across the university to realize a walk-through interactive night of spooky folklore and fun!

The Lorefest Folktale Conference is an academic outlet for anyone interested in presenting research or discussing creative works related to local/glocal folklore. We will announce the keynote speaker for the event soon. We will also have a live mariachi band with a bilingual folktale storyteller as part of the event's lunch entertainment. This free with registration event is an amazing opportunity for academics of any level and the local BCS communities alike!

The Aggie Theatre Company is bringing something special to Lorefest! They have perused the Lorefest database for tales that they feel are the most representative of the BCS communities, and they have created a promenade experience for the audience to cap off this year's event! The event is free of charge, but seats are limited. Registered conference attendees get priority.
About Lorefest
Lorefest is a community-building project bringing together local BCS residents and TAMU students through an exploration of Texas and Glocal folklore.
Lorefest is made possible in part with a City of Bryan Arts and Tourism Development Grant, a RESI Co-Sponsorship, funding from the Center for Digital Humanities, support from the PVFA Performance and Visual Studies Program, support from the TAMU Communications and Journalism Department, the TAMU Department of English, and TAMIDS Funding.
