Students of Texas A&M work with Lions Pride Sports Entertainment professional wrestlers to bring you an exciting night of local and glocal folklore creative interpretation in the form of wrestling matches, costumes, puppets, and more!

All the local haunted spots will be revealed, complete with detailed narratives, multimedia enhancement, and theatrical reenactments. Walk with us through a night of shivers, spookiness, and things that go bump in the night!

The Lorefest Folktale Conference is an academic outlet for anyone interested in presenting research or discussing creative works related to local/glocal folklore. We are extremely proud to host keynote speaker, Sandy Stone for the event, an amazing opportunity for students of TAMU and the local BCS communities!

Saturday November 01 - Lorefest Final Performance

Black Box Theatre, LAAH, TAMU Campus

The culmination of Lorefest 2025 will take place after the folktale conference, featuring a performance that brings together all the aspects of the festival and celebrates the community and rich folk culture in the Bryan/College Station area.
A reception for the week's events will be held in the lobby of LAAH prior to the performance.

About Lorefest
Lorefest is a community-building project bringing together local BCS residents and TAMU students through an exploration of Texas and Glocal folklore.
Lorefest is made possible in part with a City of Bryan Arts and Tourism Development Grant, a RESI Co-Sponsorship, funding from the Center for Digital Humanities, support from the PVFA Performance and Visual Studies Program, support from the TAMU Communications and Journalism Department, the TAMU Department of English, and TAMIDS Funding.
